A deep rumble started shaking the cabin of the moon rocket. Jim's eyes wide in horror. What could possibly be happening?
"You will help me to take care of Zinzi on this journey, won't you, Jim?" were his mother's last words just before they boarded.
"Mom, she will be just fine!" he had replied then, but now things have changed dramatically. The rocket boosters ignited and blasted the rocket off the launch pad, with only the two of them aboard.
Jim was only thirteen years old! How on earth, was he supposed to take care of his nine-year-old sister, all alone in space?
There was no time to think about it now. In fact, there was no time to think about anything at all. The powerful launch of the rocket gave the two children a massive kick in the back. The pounding exhaust of the twin boosters shook the cabin violently. Ripping through Earth's lower atmosphere, the rocket accelerated. Jim felt as though his chest was being crushed against the seat. He could not scream; not a sound escaped his lips because of the massive force of acceleration. He could barely breathe.
He managed to turn his head ever so slowly and caught a glimpse of Zinzi. She almost disappeared in her seat, clutching the armrests, her deep brown eyes wide with sheer terror. Between them were several empty seats where the rest of the team including, Mom and Dad, should have been sitt
